Simultaneous and Consecutive Interpretation
Simultaneous Interpretation
Consists of transmitting a spoken message from one language to another in real time, without pauses or interruptions. In this style, the interpreter transmits the information at the same time as the speaker, but into a different language.
Consecutive Interpretation
Unlike simultaneous interpreting, it consists of listening to a phrase or segment, taking notes and then repeating the information in another language. In this style, the speaker delivers a message, pauses, and then the interpreter interprets the message into the other language.
