They facilitate the understanding of the audiovisual content without the need to alter the original content, conveying the message in an authentic way and allowing for a more global distribution of the content. Dubbing and Voice-Overs

Dubbing is the process of recording and replacing voices in a video and internationalizing it. It consists of replacing the original voice of a speaker/actor with another one, in a different language or in the same one. A dubbing entails an interpretation, so it is important that the dubbing actor knows how to project the intention and can convey the same feelings of the original audio/video. It is for this reason that dubbing should always be done by professionals.
